Overview
The company is seeking a driven and strategic Account Manager to launch their software and AI compliance solutions, including AICA (Artificial Intelligence Compliance Assistant). This role blends consultative B2B sales, marketing strategy, and relationship management with a focus on expanding adoption of the company’s AICA platform and related software offerings.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, high-performing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at building relationships, identifying opportunities, and closing complex deals. You’ll play a key role in driving their business strategy while retaining and expanding a diverse, high-value client base across the life sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Execution
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities for the company’s software and service solutions, with a focus on AICA and digital compliance products.
- Research prospective accounts in targeted markets and develop customized outreach strategies to engage decision-makers.
- Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation and qualification through negotiation, contracting, and closure.
- Drive proposal development and statements of work (SOWs) that align with client needs and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with delivery, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless handoff and client success post-sale.
- Support the development and execution of strategic sales plans and quarterly revenue initiatives.
AICA & Software Sales
- Develop a deep understanding of AICA, including its AI-driven compliance capabilities, use cases, and differentiators within the regulatory technology (RegTech) space.
- Deliver effective product demos and presentations that highlight the value, scalability, and ROI of AICA to prospective clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients exploring digital transformation within their Quality and Compliance functions.
- Manage renewals, upsells, and cross-sells within the AICA and broader software client base to maximize customer lifetime value.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to relay client feedback for continuous product improvement and feature enhancement.
- Stay current on trends in AI, SaaS, and regulatory compliance technology to maintain a competitive edge in solution selling.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
- Identify opportunities for additional solutions and services, aligning them with evolving client needs.
- Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) to manage accounts, track performance, and forecast pipeline activity.
- Represent the company and AICA at industry events, conferences, and webinars to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, client challenges, and competitor positioning within the compliance software space.
- Provide strategic insights to leadership to inform sales strategy and product development.
- Collaborate with marketing to design and implement campaigns that drive engagement and qualified leads for AICA and other solutions.
Goals & Performance Metrics
- Support the company’s overall revenue and profitability goals.
- Drive adoption and expansion of AICA within new and existing accounts.
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales and growth targets.
- Deliver measurable growth in key accounts through cross-selling and software integration opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in B2B software or SaaS sales, preferably within life sciences, healthcare, or regulatory technology.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding software sales goals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing enterprise accounts and long sales cycles.
- Working knowledge of CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and pipeline management best practices.
- A proactive, independent, and results-oriented approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
