We have several clients adding to their existing sales teams. As a Business Development Representative, you will identify, cultivate and close new net business. Your prospecting/sales efforts will be through various activities including strategic outreach, networking events, strategic partners, as well as direct outbound campaigns via phone and social media.
Overview of Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume outbound calling campaigns (both warm and cold) to executives and decision-makers
- Qualify prospects and identify new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and social selling
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to opportunity handoff
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in our CRM system
- Build and nurture relationships with potential clients
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly prospecting and pipeline development goals
- Collaborate with account executives to ensure smooth client transitions
- Research target accounts and develop personalized outreach strategies
Overview of Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education and experience
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience
- Proven experience with territory planning, outbound prospecting, and sales cycles
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) and Excel required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed work ethic, eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a metric based role
- Demonstrated networking capabilities
- Willingness to obtain any required professional licenses within designated timeframe
