Business Development Representative (Revenue Advisory Firm)

Comp:             Base $50K-$65K dependent upon experience. Commission year 1: $35K to $60K+

Our client is a leading sales/revenue advisory firm serving diverse clients from innovative startups to established private equity-backed enterprises. Their team helps their clients optimize sales/revenue operations and achieve sustainable growth through strategic guidance and tactical implementation.

They are seeking an energetic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining their sales pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship management.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume outbound calling campaigns (both warm and cold) to C-level executives and decision-makers
  • Qualify prospects and identify new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and social selling
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to opportunity handoff
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in our CRM system
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly prospecting and pipeline development goals
  • Collaborate with account executives to ensure smooth client transitions
  • Research target accounts and develop personalized outreach strategies

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-4 years of B2B hunter sales experience. NO FARMERS!
  • Must be a self-starter, strong desire to be #1, money motivated
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong prospecting and closing abilities
  • No fear of cold calling
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales technology
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Resilient and persistent attitude with a growth mindset
  • Strong business acumen (generally inquisitive in business)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or SaaS sales
  • Knowledge of revenue operations and sales processes
  • Familiarity with sales engagement platforms
  • Experience pitching and selling to C-level executives
