Senior Accounting Consultant

ONSITE

Comp:           $140K-$160K + bonus

Craig Bradford Associates is a Philadelphia based regional search firm. We have been engaged by a growing consulting firm that services a broad spectrum of small and mid-sized businesses. Our client is comprised of professionals with various backgrounds, whose combined expertise includes accounting, finance, banking, economics, management, and accounting software. We are looking for their next team member to participate in their growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide consultation and guidance to our Clients’ Controllers/Accounting Managers to ensure accounting procedures, processes, and systems are established and followed.
  2. Production / Review of Clients’ Year-End workpapers.
    1. Obtain and maintain source documentation throughout the year.
    2. Complete the year-end process, including but not limited to:
  1. Tie all balance sheet accounts and selected income statement accounts to the trial balance.
  2. Year-End Accrual to Cash adjustments.
    1. Attend meetings with assigned clients on a semi-regular basis.
  3. Candidate should have a solid basis in working with QuickBooks and utilizing its particular features (i.e., Items, Customer Types, etc.)
  4. Work directly with team members to ensure a multi-disciplined approach to consulting, including tax, financial reporting, banking and finance, and organizational management considerations in all major decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum Five to Ten Years (5-10) Public Accounting, Management Accounting, and/or Financial consulting experience
  • Strong QuickBooks skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Skilled in Adobe Pro
