Account Analyst (Insurance)

The Account Analyst will support the Account Management team with handling all technical administrative duties. This role will perform quality work within strict deadlines and is responsible for accuracy, efficiency and retrieval of all data being processed. The person in this role understands and applies the fundamentals of commercial insurance policies to work closely with customers and other members of the service team to ensure a seamless experience throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and issue all certificates of insurance & evidence of property on an as needed client basis.
  • Issue Auto ID cards on a client need basis.
  • Process minor endorsement requests.
  • Responsible for full cycle-ordering to billing.
  • Assist the Account Management team with the entire renewal process.
  • Order and manage the process for Loss Runs, MVRs, and Loss Summaries.
  • Create and maintain all electronic files.
  • Log and check policies through company’s Imageright system.
  • Prepare schedules of insurance, policy books and electronic copies of policies to distribute to clients.
  • Other duties as assigned by Account Management team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Risk Management & Insurance majors a plus.
  • Knowledge of general office practice and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Demonstrates teamwork and the ability to support multiple individuals.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Excel a must.
  • Quick learner.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and possess great time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
