Role Summary
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for managing a key product or product line within our HCM portfolio. This role will lead the product development process from concept to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer needs. The Senior Product Manager will develop and implement product strategies to drive market success and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the product roadmap for specific HCM products (e.g., payroll, recruiting, onboarding).
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver product enhancements and new features based on customer needs and market trends.
• Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure effective product positioning and messaging.
• Define product success metrics and monitor performance against targets.
• Drive product discovery efforts using JTBD theory and customer interviews.
• Prioritize product backlog and manage trade-offs based on business impact and customer needs.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and quality product releases.
Basic Qualifications
• 7+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years in HCM software.
• Proven experience managing a product through its entire lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of product development processes and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance customer needs with business goals in decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Marty Cagan’s product model, JTBD theory, and evidence-based product frameworks.
• Experience with cloud and on-premises HCM solutions.
• Demonstrated success in driving product growth and adoption.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Management, Marketing, or Engineering required. MBA preferred.
