We’re partnering with a growing logistics organization to identify a Freight Brokerage Coordinator who will play a key role in managing day-to-day brokerage operations and driving efficient, reliable freight movement.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily freight brokerage operations, including load booking, carrier assignment, and delivery tracking
- Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and dependable service
- Partner with customers to understand shipping needs, provide solutions, and resolve issues quickly
- Negotiate rates with carriers and customers to balance profitability and market competitiveness
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations (FMCSA, DOT)
- Maintain accurate documentation and shipment records
- Utilize TMS platforms to track shipments, analyze performance, and improve operational efficiency
- Address operational challenges, including delays, discrepancies, and back-office issues
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation management
- Strong understanding of freight markets, carrier networks, and industry regulations
- Experience working across multiple transportation modes
- Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients
- Comfortable escalating complex issues when needed
