We’re partnering with a growing, family-owned organization seeking a Staff Accountant to support both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable while playing an important role in reconciliations, month-end close, and accounting process improvements.

What You’ll Do
· Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and payments
· Manage customer billing, cash application, and account activity
· Research and resolve billing, payment, pricing, and invoice discrepancies
· Perform monthly bank, credit card, AR, AP, and balance-sheet reconciliations
· Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules
· Assist with inventory, COGS, intercompany, and system reconciliations
· Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
· Support management, audit, tax, and financial reporting needs
What We’re Looking For
· 4+ years of hands-on accounting experience
· Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close
· Strong Excel skills
· Experience with QuickBooks or a comparable GL, plus ERP/inventory/order-management systems
· Experience with three-way matching in an inventory environment
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· Ability to trace transactions back to their source and resolve discrepancies
· Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Helpful experience includes: distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, e-commerce, multi-entity accounting, inventory/COGS, intercompany transactions, and accounting system implementations or process improvements.
