Position Summary
The company is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to expand our client base and strengthen partnerships with dentists, dental specialists, group practices, and dental service organizations (DSOs).
This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who enjoys building long-term relationships, prospecting new business, conducting educational meetings, and helping dental professionals improve patient outcomes through innovative restorative solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new accounts, managing existing relationships, and becoming a trusted resource for dental professionals throughout their territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities with:
- General Dentists
- Prosthodontists
- Oral Surgeons
- Periodontists
- Orthodontists
- Multi-location Dental Groups
- DSOs
- Schedule and conduct in-person meetings, lunch-and-learns, and product demonstrations.
- Educate dental practices on the company’s products, digital workflows, implant solutions, and restorative capabilities.
- Build relationships with dentists, office managers, treatment coordinators, and clinical teams.
- Identify opportunities to increase case volume and grow existing accounts.
- Coordinate with laboratory technicians and customer service teams to ensure exceptional client experience.
- Maintain CRM records and sales activity reporting.
- Attend dental trade shows, networking events, and continuing education programs.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of outside sales, business development, or account management experience.
- Proven track record of prospecting and developing new business.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Dental industry sales experience.
- Dental laboratory experience.
- Medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or healthcare services sales background.
- Experience selling to professional practices or healthcare providers.
- Familiarity with digital dentistry, intraoral scanners, implants, or restorative workflows.
