Assistant Account Manager (Commercial Insurance)

Base: $60K to $75K depending on experience

Position Overview

A well-established and growth-oriented insurance brokerage is seeking a Commercial Insurance Assistant Account Manager to support a diverse book of commercial insurance business. This role provides day-to-day servicing support to Account Managers and Producers while helping ensure accounts are handled accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of client service.

The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced insurance environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team and continue developing expertise in commercial insurance account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day servicing support to Account Managers and Producers.
  • Process certificates of insurance, endorsements, and other policy-related requests.
  • Assist with renewal preparation, follow-up, and account documentation.
  • Support remarketing efforts by gathering information and coordinating with carriers.
  • Respond to client and carrier inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and complete policy and account records.
  • Communicate with clients, underwriters, and carrier representatives as needed.
  • Assist Account Managers with maintaining strong client relationships and supporting account retention.
  • Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience with Applied EPIC preferred
  • Experience servicing commercial insurance accounts.
  • Experience with certificates, endorsements, and policy documentation preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client-service orientation and a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
